RULER IN PEACE™ — MUSIC & SOUND
I am Eric Anthony Jones, known publicly as Ruler In Peace™. Music is part of how I tell the truth. Some things arrive as words. Others need rhythm, space and sound before they can be heard.
My songs and instrumentals come from the same inquiry as all my work. They ask how we remain capable of dignity, discernment and peace.
Listen first. Find the piece that meets you where you are.
Music is my DNA made audible. My tattoo carries the strengths I want to live: love, love of learning, gratitude, kindness, appreciation of beauty and excellence, fairness, and honesty.
The music carries those commitments too. A lyric can hold a boundary without abandoning kindness. It can make room for grief without declaring a life defeated. It can name what grew when the harvest did not look like the plan.
I want the music to be something you can return to when your own words are difficult to find.

The orchid at the top of my tattoo belongs in this story. For me, it carries beauty, resilience and the possibility of continuing to grow.
That is part of what I want the music to hold: tenderness with strength, and room to become without pretending the difficult parts never happened.
Know Thyself — For reflection and discernment. Listen when you want room to notice what you feel, what you believe and what deserves your attention.
Seize the Day — For intention and movement. Listen when you are ready to take the next step and want sound to accompany the beginning.
Soul Food — For nourishment and tenderness. Listen when you need company in a difficult moment, a language for gratitude, or room to breathe.
These newer lyrical pieces sit beside the earlier instrumentals. The work is growing; its human heart remains.
These songs trace my unfolding journey through The Peacemaker’s Passage™—what I was processing, discovering, and becoming as I walked it.
For the moments when staying kind also means holding a boundary.
A difficult day does not have to become the final judgment on a life.
For the harvest that did not look like the plan, and the meaning that remained.
My earlier instrumentals began on an iPhone, using GarageBand. I did not wait for an expensive studio or formal training to begin making sound.
That beginning still matters to me. New tools and lyrical work have widened what I can make, but they do not replace the honesty, curiosity and attention that brought me to music in the first place.
These instrumentals are immersive musical experiences. To hear them as I intend, put on a pair of headphones, settle into a comfortable volume, and give the music your attention. The difference from a phone or laptop speaker can be striking: layers, space, and subtle details come forward, inviting you deeper into the experience.
Let the piece unfold. Give yourself permission to be carried by the sound.
1. Never Going To Give Up
2. Chapter 1 — A Collection of Songs
3. Unconditional Love
Songs written from my heart for a woman who touched my life deeply—and whose place in these songs needs no name.
4. One More Year
I have described this part of my story as antifragile: learning through what life brings, rather than allowing difficulty to have the final word.
The invitation in the music is to find your own meaning. You do not need to become me to hear something of yourself in it.
Choose one piece. Listen without asking it to fix everything. Notice the line, rhythm or silence that stays with you. Carry that into a walk, a moment of reflection, or the next thing you choose to do.
The next frontier of sustainability is the human being. Music is one way this work makes room for the person living the life.
