Machine Minds™
Machine Minds™ is a Ruler In Peace™ media and research platform hosted by Eric Anthony Jones. It explores the human side of artificial intelligence. It asks what happens to human identity, dignity, agency, creativity, work, judgment, and authority as AI grows more capable. It is not anti-AI, AI evangelism, or an AI-news channel. Machine Minds™ is returning.
RETURNING SOON
Watch the trailer: Machine Minds™ is returning, an inquiry into AI from the human side of the relationship.
The Inquiry
Much of the AI conversation understandably focuses on what increasingly capable machines can do.
Machine Minds turns part of the inquiry toward the other participant:
THE HUMAN BEING.
Explore the implications for:
"AI is both a tool in the investigation and a subject of the investigation."
What Machine Minds is NOT:
Machine Minds is NOT an AI-news channel.
It is NOT primarily an AI-tools tutorial channel.
It is NOT anti-AI.
It is NOT AI evangelism.
Machine Minds investigates AI from the human side of the relationship.
Questions Under Investigation
These are not answers. These are doors into the inquiry.
WHEN AI SOUNDS CERTAIN, WHAT SHOULD A HUMAN BEING TRUST?
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A MACHINE OVERRIDES WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR OWN LIFE?
WHO OWNS THE WORK WHEN HUMAN THOUGHT AND MACHINE GENERATION BECOME INTERTWINED?
WHAT HAPPENS TO IDENTITY WHEN INTELLIGENCE, CREATIVITY AND EXPERTISE ARE NO LONGER EXCLUSIVELY HUMAN ADVANTAGES?
CAN A MACHINE SIMULATE RELATIONSHIP CONVINCINGLY ENOUGH TO CHANGE A HUMAN RELATIONSHIP TO THEMSELVES?
WILL AI DEMOCRATIZE HUMAN CAPABILITY — OR QUIETLY DEEPEN EXISTING ASYMMETRIES OF POWER?
Editorial Formats
Developing editorial formats emerging from lived inquiry:
Short examinations emerging from lived human–AI interactions.
Deeper examinations of documented interactions involving trust, judgment, agency and machine authority.
Conversations with builders, artists, researchers, business leaders, critics and others examining what increasingly capable technology is doing to human beings.
Connecting lived observations with external scholarship, evidence and unanswered questions.
Eric Anthony Jones examining emerging questions from the human side of AI.
Periodic streams, panels and public inquiry.
These are editorial formats within ONE media/research property. Not products. Not enrollment pathways.
The Return
Machine Minds began years ago after BK encouraged Eric Anthony Jones to begin conversations with people doing interesting work in artificial intelligence.
Eric developed guest processes, production infrastructure and early programming.
Then Machine Minds went quiet.
But the inquiry continued elsewhere.
As artificial intelligence became deeply integrated into Eric's actual working and creative life, the questions became considerably more consequential.
Sustained human–AI interaction produced inquiry around:
"ERIC WAS NOT PRIMARILY BEING CALLED TO EXPLAIN MACHINES.
HE WAS BRINGING THE HUMAN BEING INTO THE AI CONVERSATION."
The project stopped.
The inquiry matured.
Now there is a reason to return.
Eric’s work with AI has sharpened a question: what does it take for human authority to remain meaningful? Having the final vote requires enough information, time, and understanding to make that vote count—and the power to pause, correct, reject, or reverse an action.
In practice, that means checking what a system actually did before relying on its claim that the work is complete. It means recognizing uncertainty, asking for evidence, and keeping responsibility for decisions with the human being.
Machine Minds™ explores that relationship: how we can benefit from AI while continuing to exercise our own judgment, discernment, creativity, and agency.
"THE QUESTION IS NOT MERELY WHAT AI WILL BECOME.
THE QUESTION IS WHAT WE WILL BECOME IN RELATIONSHIP WITH IT."
